Another one from the archives! This one is from 2000, when it still snowed alot. This was my first of two descents of this couloir, and it stands out as the best…ahhh, the early days!
OK…I’m going to say this is a tough one…so give her your best shot!!! 😆
Can’t win if you don’t play!
It’s obviously the Snarklepuss Couloir on the backside of Pk. 10,420.
I’m totally stumped. There’s a couloir in between Twice is Nice and Once is Enough that used to carry enough snow to ski – or at least I once saw someone try and ski/sidestep through it. It looked about as narrow and steep, and the aspect and basin (and snowballs in the basin) seem about right. I’ll guess that one, although I don’t have a name.
Wow on the Airline Couloir of a couple posts ago!
Hope all is well in Jackson.
Sorry fellas…
I know it’s a tough one, but I had to stump Ed some how!
🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄
Okay…here is a hint.
The couloir has an upper and lower section. I’m not sure if the lower section gets skied much, but I am skiing it here…in the photo.
KOVEN!
how about is it one of those ramps and couloirs over by the south / south east side of the ice cream cone face?
second on the koven!
Nice work AK…Koven Couloir is CORRECT!!! 💡
But…shouldn’t you be working? 😉
