Junk show?
Like many of you, I have a hard time finding enough storage for all the toys that you need to live and enjoy life in a mountain town. Luckily, I have a garage to stash a lot of my stuff in, but there still never seems to be enough room for it all. Like many sports, having the right tool for the job is mandatory. Hence, we skiers tend to relish in a nice quiver of skis to get the job done, and with this year’s arrivals fast approaching, it’s a good time organize your collection.
If you’ve got some ceiling room, this ski rack is a piece of cake to make and very cheap. It probably costs you about $10-15 in total, and takes about the same time in minutes to put together. Some things to consider when buying materials are…how far do you want the skis to hang from the ceiling, how many (and how big) skis do you want it to hold and how short are the shortest skis you will us it for. Ciao for now!
Where do you keep the rest of your skis? 🙂
I have them on another rack…just wanted to show last year’s quiv. 😉
just so you know mate, most people’s quivers don’t look like that. generally a more modest 2, 3, maybe 4 pairs at most. toot your horn though. you are clearly very proud of yours, enough to show it to the whole world on this wide web thing. neat
Whatev!!!
Cary Smith has the ski storage system locked down tight!
some people live to ski
some people live to complain about others
enjoy your quiver! 🙂
Nice rack Steve, i will share some photos once i have mine built. Going for the hanging from the tips style because my garage ceiling is tall.
What PaulE doesn’t understand is when you live in a town that is predominately winter, quivers are a must.
Lets see some other storage systems out there…
