we have it out here in Switzerland, for DISABLED people…………
i mean no offense to disabled people (or grandmothers) with this post. obviously the ski-limo has it’s appeal for people who might not ever be able to slide on snow in an alpine setting. but i dunno, seems like just another slalom gate for the high speed ripping helmet heads at teton village.
great idea. wish my grandfather could have been hooked up with this before he died.
I think its great for someone that is unable to ski, I have a friend that was paralyzed in High school and he would love this, however if you are able body and choose this instead of skiing for yourself you should just be taken to the top of the mountain then given a ghost ride of S&S going 40mph.
all great points above…..but does it huck?
and can you ride it switch to the road?
I would like to thank you all but i do have a comment or two.
Randosteve;
please keep in mind that the sno-limo is in no way a sno-Porche or Hummer.
We are a limo and slide accordingly at safe speeds on GREEN runs generaly with the 55-105 age group.YES 105 at Grouse!!!
If you are concerned about "speeding helmet heads" using us as a slalom gate as far as we know most resorts have speed contol in beginner or GREEN run area’s.
Gillesleskieur;
You have a similar unit to ours called the Tandem made by Tessier in France.
Although very similar the two units differ in many ways.
GMON;
very kind and we would have loved to bring him out may i dirrect you to our site in the testimonals you will find some interesting stories and if you are in an area that we operate plz contact me directly.
Derek;
Again we are not a sno-Porche 😉
MAADJURGUER;
Ummmm YES but not with clients in it.
WOOLY;
Great idea for Generation 2
All Kidding asside we have done over 25000 tours in 5 seasons and safety is paramount in everything we do.
Kind Regards,
Paul
thanks paul…looks like you have a successful product!
Can’t imagine being a hater of something like this. Awesome idea for those who, for whatever reason, cannot ski. Similar thrills for them, I’ll bet. Bring ’em to the Vil!
I think some of you are looking at this only from your own perspective. If you are a tourist and have never been to a particular resort and don’t ski or board, you are basicly limited to the view from the lodge. Sno-Limo makes it possible for those people to experience the lifts, some of the runs, and views and areas of the mountain they would otherwise never had a chance to see. Some will also go on to take up skiing.
It isn’t theadvanced skiers who pay for new lifts. The majority of the income is generated by tourists and new skiers.
I have always found that Sno-Limo provides an exciting and yet safe experience for those who – for whatever reason – cannot ski.
Way to advertise for big business while you mocked a grandmother wanting to experience bunny slope groomers with her grandkids. Lame.
relax derek…i never mocked granny, i just asked jhmr not to bring these to rendezvous mountain. and you have to admit, that second video is pretty nauseating.
Derek in no way is this advertising or meant to be. and we are far from beeing a big business I have a fleet of 30 units on 5 mountains it has been a struggle and a labor of love for the last 5 years. But knowing that we have made a difference in many pepoles lives(testimonials our site) we are content.
Rando what is so nauseating about Pepole usualy of an older generation enjoying beeing out with family on the mountain? You your self will one day be old enough to understand!! that at a certain age for what ever reason People are no longer be able to ski.
Please try it and understand it before you knock it and speak from an educated point of view.
paul. did you watch that second video? that…is nauseating.

Well, the name "sno-limo" make me think of people that just don’t want make an effort: i.e. the opposite of Karina….but, I am sure that it can help people through difficult times by keeping them in the social network.
Karina is very inspiring and she deserves alot of credit for sure.
But she is young and full of energy.
Do you think at 78 some one wants or needs to make an ”effort” to learn how to ski if they only want to enjoy watching their family ski as oposed to waiting in the lodge?
Or some one who has developed MS that used to ski but can no longer.
The 55+ age group is the largest and fastest growing population in the world this is our target market.
Again Hats off to Karina what an inspiration forall of us.
Thank you for sharing the links.
