Tune in tomorrow for what’s IN my pack. 😎
I haven’t been able to find this pack in my size 🙁
RS,
could you go into more detail/show how you use the bottom compression straps to carry a helmet?
will do harpo. i will take a picture.
harpo…basically i just clip the helmet chin-strap and then thread the side backpack straps through it. it works best with climbing-style helmets, as opposed to ski-helmets that have lots of padding on the ears.
Steve,
I am about to pull the trigger on a new pack. I just cannot decide if I want a BD pack. I need a good deal of space (35+ L) so I’d opt for the revelation, anarchist or alias. Ideally I’d get the anarchist but there is no option sans avalung. How easy is it to remove the avalung from these packs and does it bring the weight down?
How have you liked your Alias? Does it carry pretty well?
thanks,
-j
josh…i like my alias…and it’s pretty easy to remove the lung.

i think it drops the pack by about 12oz.
the osprey kode 38 is another sweet option in that size! I’ve been loving mine!
