Some pretty good stokage rolling in this video. Including a near miss, an interesting icefall descent and some cruxy maneuvers on a snowboard that I’m not sure were deliberate. Old school all the way (and a great time waster), but full of stokage!!!

OOOO Hell no they crossed tracks at 2:52
I wonder if after all of those runs where they were crossing each others tracks if they got done and one person looked at the other and was like “you suck, your not core. You might as well have screwed my wife, stole my weed and kicked my dog. You must have a trust fund and drive a fancy car you dick. You didn’t get a fresh run and there is no way you understand why you are even doing this.” Or if they just said something in French that translates to something like “That was the shit, how did we get so lucky to do something like that, I love you man”.
funny lee. to each his own…obviously.
Great vid. Steve.
I love the face shot of Guerlain they threw in there just before he skied over the ice. Very French! Good sideways skiing in there too.
I’ve organized some special blatant tandem skiing track crossing footage coming up on the BD site in November and December. I call it “anarch-eights” ;-).
ptor…i’ve got my own ideas on how to prove my point on this as well. good stuff!
Good one….
Dave Swanik looks smooth and powerfull on the steeps…. Good form and style….
As far as crossing tracks, not such a big concern, unless you are ski guiding and people are paying large amounts of money to ski….I guess you have to farm it….In the backcountry it is your own free will to do as you please, unless you put some one in danger…. then it creates an issue…. Maybe? Ah crap,I am having, all I want is a Pepsi moment…HA Ha!
When I go skateboarding in the bowls….We just say dropping in….then the rule is to let the skater choose there line without someone crossing there line, this is what we do now anyway….In the eighties it was not always so friendly….
Yah this is my late response to the original thread on the subject….I grew up on the West Coast so sometimes we are a little late….
