Well, for me it’s trail running (or mountain running as I like to call it) and skiing, usually on grass or rocks. You just have to be sure not to hurt yourself on the rocks and wreck your entire season, so it does come with some risks. What do others do to get in shape? I know a lot of folks that go to “ski fitness” classes, which really isn’t my style. Mainly because I don’t fell the need to spend money to have someone tell me how to get a good workout, as running up hill seems to do just fine for me. But others, like Lyndsey Dyer, an ambassador for JHMR, have found more creative ways to get ready for the slopes. Here’s her technique, you might find that it works for you?
Yeah she’s a foxy girl but did anybody else find this sorta..meh.
You mountain town guys that havent seen any shrubbery since summer are Dq’d. Put anything with long hair in front of you and you’ll go nuts.
I know, I know, at the risk of being soooooooo unpopular….Looks aside, I didnt really find it funny. At all.
I with you Steve, I go crazy stuck inside gyms. I’ll take some mtn running any day, rain or shine. I seems to work great for me. Seems like I enter the season in good shape to skin, then when summer roles around I’m ready for running season.
jr…i agree, she could have played this one a bit better.
Not only is the video meh. But on linking to her web site for more information about her skiing exploits I got hit with malware, careful out there in cyberspace . Rando your blog rules.
it’s important to have a swag section in your blog categories.
Great smile!
Training for skiing when you are not a professional ski racer is BS. The best way to train for skiing is to ski.
Lyndsey rips, but with all due respect this is so scripted and it shows. She did not even break a sweat. Love the moon walk you can really see her core strength.
