Last Tuesday (the 15th), I skied three laps on the north side of Jackson Peak. It was great! Here’s another video recap….with a little skiing (and wildlife) this time! I know I’m a dork in these videos, but I’m going solo…so what the hey! 8)
Gros Peak with Pinnacle Peak in the distance
These lines…right to left…with the sun.
Nice work Steve. Time to get that helmet cam attachment.
Thanks for the sticker. But what’s up with the Fristchis?
the right arm of the fork of the central gully looks nice.(as you look at teh photo)
was it too similar with the one you did on the left, or you just saved it for next time?
because it looks good, too.
how much vertical you get on a face like this?
Hey now…I have Fritchis on 2 of my 8 BC setups…a little more visual for the sticker too I thought!
Yes Alex…there are many fun lines in that side of the peak…just picking and choosing on this trip! Hmmm…looks like about 1000′ for the steep section of the face.

Hey Steve,
Been looking at that face all season. Glad you got to it. The video thing is cool. We will have to upgrade with a couple of helmet cams for next years posts. A little more hassle editing but the readers will love it if you keep them short and sweet. Almost like being there.
J Peak is awesome…great steep, late season turns w/ minimal approach.
Yes…videos…maybe I can get some moneys to help out with that investment. 😉
