Here’s a good one located in the Teton Range. I got this seldom skied couloir in April 1999 with Reed Finlay in sweet powder conditions. Ahhh…the early days…before global warming.
Any guess what couloir this is?

Do not be afraid to guess!!
North couloir South Teton?
No…but good guess.
Tis further north!
Turkey Shoot back side of 25 short
Nope…but that would be nice if it was!
Further north…still. 🙄
Ed Bushnell emailed me…and once again guessed the correct coolie. He is the master.
If he can do it…anyone can!!!! 8)
it almost looks like the ramp on the north side of spaulding peak. but kind of not as well. but that is my guess.
I can totally see why some of you are guessing lines in the South Fork of Garnet Canyon. That totally looks like the middle in the background.
But for the third time now…
…ITS FURTHER NORTH!!!!! 😈
looks like that short coloir that runs straight north from suprise/ampitheater lakes area – the one that ends up almost down at Delta lake?
Getting warmer!!!
Thanks for trying Greg!
how bout the dike couloir next to the red sentinel????
gunsight notch coloir (west side) nearing Valhalla?
WINNER!!!!!!
Nice work Greg. West Gunsight Couloir is correct.
I know some guys who just came back from trying to ski it. Unfortunatly, but not suprising, it was melted out pretty good.
Thanks for playing everyone!!!
