It’s cool to see a little Sierra Slayers stoke from our friend John Morrison, from the Tahoe area, with a nice descent of the Mendenhall Couloir. Definitely have looked at this one a few times driving up and down 395, and it will be in the radar the next time I visit. Though the line looks a little boney at times near the top, John rips the 4000′ descent with Powder Dan and gives us a good look at the little cruxy section in the middle. Sickter!
Yeah, I’m jonesing for winter…you?
BADASS. John used to be my landlord. He’s for sure one of the better rippers in the Tahoe region… More video proof. So, I feel fall in the air btw!
GREAT find Steve!
solid summer stoke, way to get after it. This really makes me miss the sierras.
Sympathetic thigh burn. Damn that was a long fast descent.
Wow! Awesome!
Word up on the winter jones, Steve.
I have finally admitted to myself that August just needs an annual trip to the southern hemisphere to get my fix. Still, three things happened at my house in the bay area as soon as Labor Day was over: it got cold enough one night to use the comforter, we had a lightning strike and it rained for a few minutes. Since it stopped raining in June, that’s a big change. Of course we’re still not skiing anything great for another 3 months
