After returning from the big mountain ranges of British Columbia and Rogers Pass, the Tetons began to feel a bit on the small side. However, all it really takes is a step away from the norm to find solitude and vast expanses of new terrain. Here are some pics from a tour last week getting further away in the Northern Tetons.

I wish you wouldn’t advertise the northern range. It’s nice to have it to yourself and a few friends.
Considering I was all alone on one of the most popular ski runs in the park on a blue-bird powder day today…I find it hard to believe that there will be a line of skiers crossing Jackson Lake because of these photos.
