Let’s play another round of…NAME…THAT…COULOIR!
This one might be a bit tough and we may have a stumper. (Prove me wrong!) I think you really may have had to skied this couloir to know the name. BUT, you folks always surprise me on this stuff, so someone might recognize the lifts or the road at the bottom of the run…and nail it right off the bat. Either way, let’s see how good your couloir knowledge really is!
Gotta guess? Yep…leave it in the comments section.
Super C Couloir, Portillo, Chile
good guess…but no.
That looks like Hidden Gully in the Bridgers, MT.
not this time dwyer…sorry.
Hint: This line is in Europe!
Man, the rocks remind me of Utah almost. Something on the East side of Jackson area maybe… but have no idea.
From the geology, I would say it’s in the Dolomites…
…and you would be very warm…
In that case, my guess is the Priest’s Couloir.
If by Priest’s Couloir, you mean Canal de Prete (see photo below…route 13), then no…sorry. Good guess though. You should see this guide book I have for the Dolomites. FKNA!!
My guess: Bus di’Tofana: Wray and I eyed this on our visit to Cortina this past spring.
Bu di’Tofana would look like this…
Good try though Crissy. Did you end up in SV last weekend? Hope the race went well!
by the way…looks like Canale Joel. photo taken above the choke
Well Gringo. That is absolutely…
RIIGHT! Nice one man!
I’m not all bad….just a little bit. I would love to spend a season or so around the Passo Pordoi, good shit as you know.
We all try Gringo.
Yeah, I only got to spend a few days in the area, but I will definitely be back. Amazing place.
